Ciocco '91 - The MTB Olympus wants to present itself as a Classic dedicated to the sportsmen and enthusiasts of the MTB world up to the year 2000.
It is inspired by the forerunner event in Europe of the MTB movement: the 1991 UCI MTB World Championship Ciocco.

The aim is to make it a fixed appointment and a classic of off-road cross country cycling.
Participation in Il Ciocco '91 - The MTB Olympus is reserved for owners of mountain bikes, built before 2000, with 26' wheels, inner tubes and tyres (which for safety reasons can also be recent), v-Brake braking system, double or triple cranksets.
Cyclists with period clothing are welcome.

What makes this event even more special is the presence of the champions who ploughed the route in 1991 and who are preparing for a new challenge.

The route is a ring of about 3 km with a difference in altitude of 140 m; the track is characterised by natural obstacles, changes in gradients and technical passages. The track used partly follows the route used for the 1991 World Mountain Bike Championships.
