The 22nd Ciocchetto Rally – Maurizio Perissinot Memorial
We’re back talking about the Il Ciocchetto Rally. This year is the 22nd edition of one of the races that has made it into the history of Italian street racing.
One of the most popular stage rallies is back on December 21st and 22nd and a must for all those that work in and around the race and, of course, the fans. From 1992 to today it has laid out a new approach of perceiving street racing exploiting its compelling mix of exhibition and competitiveness that only rallies can offer.
48 Hours “Flat out”
The race will be concentrated in 48 hours with reconnaissance, testing and special stages. The two days inside the comprehensive territory of Il Ciocco will begin on Saturday, December 21st at 12:00 pm with the distribution of the Road Book and the pacenotes for the reconnaissance, followed by the administrative and technical verifications from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
The race will take place on Sunday, December 22nd over 12 Special Stages with four different stages that will be repeated more times, the rally course is outlined, as usual, within the Il Ciocco.
The first car will leave the starting point at 8:00 am and the checkered flag will begin waiving at 5:30 pm. Only vehicles that abide by and are bound by the codes and regulations of the National Sporting Regulations are admitted. Last year’s victory went to the former Italian champion and three time European champion, Luca Rossetti paired with Ivan Maurigi on a Skoda Fabia S2000.
