Luca Bacchetti, the Project, the Origins
Luca Bacchetti, originally from Pieve Fosciana (Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Lucca, Tuscany), is one of the most appreciated Italian producers and DJs in the world.
Thanks to his techno, deep house and electronica, he is a sought after DJ, and in the last 10 years, his worldwide tours have brought him to more
than 80 countries across the five continents.
This year, after 25 years of successful tours, releases and remixes it’s time to celebrate. Luca decides to work on his first album (an electronica
album) with the collaboration of jazz musicians such as pianist Stefano Onorati, and trumpeter Andrea Guzzoletti and other guests.
The recordings will take place just a few kilometers from his hometown, at the International Tourist Center Il Ciocco. The location is the symbol of a return to the origins. The conclusion of a cycle with an album that
narrates the future. An ambitious project that will be documented during the recording phase and will embody the vision of our “restless” Tuscan artist who, through his music, tells us the stories of his inspiring world travels.
Music has always been right at home at Il Ciocco where in 1984 VideoMusic, the first music television in Europe, was born. Also, for its
third consecutive year, Il Ciocco is hosting the Unplugged Festival d’Autore, a music festival with concerts which include the biggest names of the
Italian music scene.
