The new Landini 7 series wins the challenge at Il Ciocco
A technical/social-inspired initiative called “Landini 130 hours Endurance” that took place from October 6th to the 11th at Il Ciocco Estate and Park, in Barga, Italy, has come to an end.
A celebration for the 130th anniversary of one of the undisputed, noblest, most glorious brands in agricultural tractor history and landmark for international agricultural machinery. The organizers were extremely satisfied with the end result.
77 drivers – from which journalists from all over Europe and the world soccer champion Gianluca Zambrotta – alternated behind the wheel of a Landini 7 series in an exciting relay on an off-road track: 130 hours of non-stop driving, 992 kilometers covered in 171 laps around a 4x4 track set-up for the occasion, situated in the splendid natural setting of the Il Ciocco Estate and Park.
An exciting challenge that began on Monday, October 6th at 5 am with a charitable fund created which generated an €8,000 contribution by Argo Tractors for the schools of Fabbrico (Landini’s native town) damaged by the earthquake in May 2012.
