The Pizzeria Gulì opens at Il Ciocco
A predominantly white theme, colored chairs, newspaper pages used to decoupage and personalize the table tops: with this new look, “Gulì”, the name of the renewed pizzeria inside the Il Ciocco Estate, will open its
doors on Saturday, January 24th at 5:30 pm.
The inauguration date was not chosen by chance: the ribbon cutting will precede, by a few hours, Emma Morton’s concert that will take place
right in the Ciocco Estate and precisely at the Auditorium Theatre of the Renaissance Tuscany.
The Pizzeria Gulì is located in the Piazza of the Estate and will open to
the public beginning with Sunday, January 25th and every Friday, Saturday and Sunday following that date from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm., as well as for events and birthday parties, even during weekdays. On the menu you will find a selection of pizzas, cooked in a wood- burning oven, and appetizers prepared with local products.
The Pizzeria Gulì is managed by Monica Puccetti of the Del Monte Ristorazione. “We wanted to make a change while not losing touch with the ties to the territory’s history – explains Monica -. Hence the choice of
a style of furniture that is very reminiscent of the Euro-American shabby
chic and at the same time we made the choice of calling the pizzeria with
the name of Giovanni Pascoli’s dog, Gulì”.
The pizzeria’s clients will have free access to the Estate and discounts will be applied for all those who work at the Ciocco.
