Goodbye Prince

Goodbye Prince

Prince remembered by Pier Luigi Stefani, VideoMusic (1984-1992):

My friend Alfredo Saitto (RCA Sales Promotion Manager in the '80s and later to become journalist) kidded me around for years after he heard me calling "The Prince" the group who were in fact "THE REVOLUTION" and whose leader was obviously Prince.

When I went to see the PURPLE RAIN TOUR I told myself that in that
case reality exceeded imagination. Prince was a phenomenon, a force of nature capable of an extraordinary show, enhanced by beauties such as Vanity 6 and Apollonia. But he was not just an esthete, he was a master showman.

He was a great musician, honored by the Jazz Giant himself, Miles Davis.
