Riana Wine Festival
After the successful past editions, the Riana Wine Fest, which takes place in the Municipality of Fosciandora, is back on Sunday October 21st.
Through the streets of the village you may enjoy wine tastings as well as typical local dishes such as infarinata, corn meal polenta, roasted corn meal polenta, cottarelle (a mix of whole-wheat flower, spelt and water cooked in typical cast iron skillets to be filled with cold cuts, cheeses and hazelnut spread) and many more homemade flavors accompanied by good local wine.
In fact, for this occasion, wine instead of water will be flowing from the village fountain!
In the afternoon the "Barrel and Push Race" will take place. It's an
individual time trial sprint where competitors push the barrels through a vineyard.
Local products and crafts market along the streets of the village.
